DUNCANVILLE, TX – Trailing by three points, the team wearing the white jerseys had the ideal player launching jump shots to try to tie the score in the final minute of the Pangos All-South Frosh/Soph Camp Top 30 Cream of the Crop all-star affair Sunday afternoon.
But Parker Jefferson, a 6-foot-8 freshman from Waxahachie High (in the southern reaches of the Dallas-Fort Worth region), missed three shots from behind the arc – two of which rimmed in and out – and the black jersey-wearing crew prevailed, 54-51, wrapping up the two-day event held at the Duncanville Fieldhouse.
