SPRINGFIELD, Ma. – Guard Al-Amir Dawes of the Patrick School (Hillside, NJ), who signed a National Letter of Intent with Clemson in November, scored 25 points and his team held off its Our Savior New American (Centereach, NY) counterpart, 66-65, Saturday night in Springfield College’s Blake Arena.
It was the last of seven games played during the third day of the Spalding HoopHall Classic.

elite sophomore prospects, Jonathan
Kuminga (PICTURED), had an opportunity to send the game into overtime for
Our Savior but missed the back end of a 1-and-1 free-throw situation with 4.1
seconds remaining.
