No.’s 2 and 3 set for Saturday Take Flight clash at Redondo

REDONDO BEACH, CA – The No.’s 2 and 3 teams in the BurlisonOnBasketball SoCal Top 25 hook up Saturday night at Redondo Union High during the eight-game, Take Flight Challenge.

No. 2 Harvard-Westlake (16-1 before its Friday night Mission League game with Alemany and 18-0 Bishop Montgomery were CIF Southern Section Open Division playoff teams last spring and are in contention for the top spot in the 2023 CIF SS Open playoff seedings next month.

The Wolverines and Knights are set to tip off at 7 o’clock, just before another clash between potential CIF SS Open teams (Heritage Christian vs. Crossroads, at 5:30) and just before 8:30 finale between the host Sea Hawks and Marcus Adams Jr.-led Narbonne.

The games get underway at 10 o’clock in the morning, with St. Anthony and Jordan hooking up in an “LBC” get together.
