Boys basketball event at North Torrance Saturday

TORRANCE – The annual Rolling Hills Prep Basketball Fall Classic tips off at 9:30 Saturday morning with a nine-game schedule.

The event wasn’t held a year ago because of COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

Among the more compelling matchups are Colony-Bishop Montgomery; Westchester-Mater Dei; Rolling Hills Prep-St. John Bosco and Fountain Valley-Crean Lutheran.

The complete schedule:

9:30 a.m., North Torrance vs. Redondo (girls);

10:50, Harvard-Westlake vs. Saugus;

12:10 p.m., Campbell Hall vs. St. Francis;

1:30, Colony vs. Bishop Montgomery;

2:50, Mira Costa vs. Windward;

4:10, West Ranch vs. Brentwood;

5:30, Westchester vs. Mater Dei;

7, Rolling Hills Prep vs. St. John Bosco;

8:30, Fountain Valley vs. Crean Lutheran.
