Rancho Christian plays host to Top 25 clash Saturday

TEMECULA – A clash between host Rancho Christian and Riverside Poly is the jewel in Saturday’s five-game Eagle Showcase.

The host Eagles (17-5) are No. 2 in the BurlisonOnBasketball top 25 while Riverside Poly (19-4) checks in at No. 20.

Each has a pair of players that signed with Division I programs in November: Evan Mobley (USC) and Dominick Harris (Gonzaga) for Rancho Christian and Lamont Butler (San Diego State/pictured) and D.J. Davis (UC Irvine) for the Bears.

Schedule

1:30 p.m., Banning vs. Murrieta Mesa; 3, Linfield Christian vs. Newport Pacifica Christian; 4:30, Eisenhower vs. Eastvale Roosevelt; 6, Rancho Christian vs. Riverside Poly; 7:30, San Ysidro vs. Rancho Verde.
