SAN PEDRO – The 20th Collison Basketball All-Star games are set for Saturday evening at Harbor Community College.
The games will pit some of the better players in the L.A. City Section against their Southern Section counterparts.
The girls’ contest is set to tip off at 5:30 with the boys’ game to follow at approximately 7:30.
The City squad is expected to be led by some of the better guards in the regional and national classes of 2018 in Birmingham’s Devonaire Doutrive (PICTURED/Arizona), Taft’s Kihei Clark (Virginia) and Fairfax’s Jamal Hartwell (George Mason).
The Southern Section also has some notable college-bound players in forwards Riley Battin (Utah) and Tevian Jones (Illinois), of Oak Park and Culver City, respectively, as well as Pasadena guard Bryce Hamilton (UNLV).
