Some compelling MLK matchups at La Salle HS

There are numerous boys’ hoops events scheduled to be played on Monday across the country in honor of Martin Luther King Day.

What follows are the schedules for some of those events, based in Southern California, that I’ve been able to acquire.

The largest of those is the one put on by Pasadena La Salle High Coach Ernest Baskerville, with scheduled contests at La Salle and L.A. Price.

The matchups at La Salle (which begin at 10 a.m.) are particularly intriguing, especially the games set to tip at 5:30 p.m. (Cantwell vs. Sierra Canyon), 7 (Bishop Montgomery vs. Riverside JW North) and 8:30 (Chino Hills vs. El Camino Real).

Since I’m still in Springfield, MA, for the final day of the HoopHall Classic, I suggest following the Twitter feed of @JoelFranESPN and @RonMFlores for constant updates and insights from La Salle.
