Hoops galore in Anaheim today

ANAHEIM, Ca. – Six boys’ CIF Southern Section championship hoops games are on tap today in the Anaheim Convention Center Arena.

I’m here all morning, day and much of the night – courtside – to watch and analyze the games for you.

So, be sure to hit my twitter account — @FrankieBur – for up-to-the-minute updates and comments on each of the game.

I’ll also post a rundown on the entire day’s proceedings on this website.

The schedule:

*10 a.m. Bellflower St. John Bosco vs. West Hills Chaminade (3A); noon, La Verne Lutheran vs. Gardena Serra (4AA); 2 p.m., Redondo Beach Redondo vs. Westlake Village Westlake (2A); 4, Villa Park vs. Riverside JW North (2AA); 6, Lake Forest El Toro vs. Santa Monica (1A); 8:30, Etiwanda vs. Santa Ana Mater Dei (1AA).

Frank Burlison is a well-regarded basketball writer who was inducted into the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Hall of Fame in 2005. His opinions on the potential of high school and college players are widely respected and sought by college coaches and NBA scouts, personnel directors and general managers from coast to coast.
